You will start our journey on the Transfagarasan Road - the highest altitude pass road. You will discover the beauty of the glacial Balea Lake (2034 m), Vidraru dam lake and the famous orthodox Monasteries of Curtea de Arges and Cozia.

The Transfagarasan mountain road is one of the most spectacular roads in the world. Located in Romania, it runs through Fagaras mountains and it represents a challenge for every driver because of its sharp hairpin turns

Via Transfăgărăşan road through a breathtakingly majestic landscape, we go to Curtea de Arges Monastery is the most important pilgrimage and prayer place in the county of Arges. Founded in the time of voivode Neagoe Basarab, between 1512 and 1517, today is the burial place for our royal family.

On our way back to Sibiu we will also admire the Monastery Cozia, built close to Călimănești by Mircea the Elder in 1388 and housing his tomb, is one of the most valuable monuments of national medieval art and architecture in Romania.
