  Our journey begins at 09:00 at the KFC, Piata Unirii in Cluj-Napoca, where we’ll set off for an unforgettable adventure through the historical and cultural heart of Transylvania.


1. Râmeț Monastery

      Our first destination takes us to the quaint village of Râmeț, known for its 13th-century monastery, one of the oldest and most significant in Romania. As we approach the Râmeț Monastery, nestled within lush greenery and steeped in history, you’ll be transported back in time. We’ll take a walk through the church museum, showcasing ancient frescoes, and enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings that offer a serene atmosphere for reflection.

    This spiritual landmark played an important role in the religious life of the region and is a must-see for history and culture enthusiasts.


2. Blaj: is a historic town in Alba County, Romania, located in the scenic Mureș Valley. It played a significant role in the Romanian national movement during the 18th and 19th centuries, particularly in the development of the Romanian Greek-Catholic Church, often referred to as the “Rome of the Romanian Greek-Catholics.”

  • The National Museum of Union

    In the evening, enjoy the drive back to Cluj Napoca, having explored the cultural and historical gems of Rameti, Blaj, and Alba Iulia.
