Tour of the European Cultural Capital 2007 from Brasov

Itinerary: Brasov - Fagaras - Carta - Sibiu - Brasov 

Program: 

Today we head towards west, driving parallel to the Meridional Carpathians. Our first stop is at Fagaras where we visit the only fortress built by Romanians fromTransylvania during the middle Ages. Next we head towards Carta, former Abbey of the Cistercian Order, and the birth place of the Gothic architectural style in Transylvania.  Our next stop is Sibiu where you will discover a unique medieval atmosphere. On a city tour you will see the main cultural objectives : the Evangelic Church, the Liar’s Bridge, The Council Tower etc. Free time in Sibiu. Arrival in Brasov at the hotel where you are checked in at around 18:00
